action from the rail.

Race 3: 5- Mcfly – Was a winner two starts back and could score again tonight to start the Pick 5. 4- Lucky Match – Looks to do
well in here with the right trip. 1- Ima Ironman – Looks to be in the thick of the action from the rail.

Race 4: 9- Photo Mass – Made the ticket in both of his most recent races; could step-up tonight and lead the ticket. 4- Tough
Affair – Looks to be tough upon coming to Northfield. 6- Screamin Dreamin – Could add value to the ticket. 2- Herbinator –
Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.

Race 5: 3- Grandrosa – Was the runner-up last time out; could step-up tonight and be successful. 8- Major Humor – Could be
prominently placed on this ticket despite starting from the far outside. 2- Major Dreamboat – Draws well and looks to be in the
thick of the action. 4- Gorgeous Pacific – Should not be overlooked as a potential contender.

Some insights into tonight’s racing program for our IdaBet players:

3RD RACE – (6) THE RUSSIAN SPY seems to have as much license in this Excelsior event as any of her rivals. Minds her manners, has familiar set of hands.   

5TH RACE – (7) EUNICE was second-best in last October’s consolation for sire stakes crowd. Returns off blowout qualifier and endorsed to overcome impost.

8TH RACE – (3) RED REIGN makes season bow off requisite improvement in second PA qualifier. Goes sans straps in second event of NYSS Goldstein Trot.   

9TH RACE – (4) JORDAN BLUE CHIP had good, two-move seasonal debut north of border (though burning coin at 3-5). Better than foes in third NYSS group.  

10TH RACE – (5) LUCKY RAINBOW ought to have more than a scant win. Another trying it in ’18 racing without hopples, gets ‘maybe’ in final NYSS event.    

11TH RACE – (4) OUR ELS DREAM N is squat-for-15 this season, but sees nothing (save for inside neighbor and eight-holer) in way. Taken to get off schneid.

3RD RACE – (4) DAMION DIESEL HAHN gets a useful getaway for fourth try off bench. Thus figures closer, need not be that much versus other limited lads.  

4TH RACE – (5) ARMOR HANOVER returns to town while slipping down to bottom-feeder level. Been own worst enemy more than once, swifter than these.  

5TH RACE – (6) BIG CHUTE was last seen in Petticoat Series. A bridesmaid twice down in Philly, may need a way in here but taken to work if able to find way.  

7TH RACE – (5) ONEIDA BLUE CHIP hasn’t done much wrong in her four seasonal starts. Gets free ride and same venue as last week’s down-the-road effort.   

8TH RACE – (3) HANDSOFFMYCHIPS seemed to be in tight quarters last out, having some pace late. Inside duo shouldn’t scare him so perhaps in play here.   

10TH RACE – (8) D G’S ELSA may not get involved from hinterlands, but we’ve chased her often enough. If she wins from there and we miss it, hell to pay.
