1 Jw Sonofa Comment is a 7YO whose better days seem behind him … that said, he draws a good inside post. 7 Eyeontheline finished behind Jw Sonofa Comment in their January 9 common affair … the 8YO has a shot. 2 Texas Vision is winless in 15 tries on this track … the 10YO figures to have a shot at the minor awards here.

RACE 3

5 Sustainable returns to action for the top trainer/jockey tandem here … she should be ready to run a good one. 2 Jm One Classy Dream probably needed that comeback race … top jockey Omar Reyes takes the call again. 6 Shes Just Cookin makes her third start of the current campaign … she’ll need to improve off her last effort.

Turfway Park by Bret Battaglia’s Picks: Friday, Feb. 12

Race 1

CRITICAL SUMMER shows two solid efforts at this same level in his last two starts and is the choice to pick up the maiden win here. SAGE MASTER looks like the one to beat on the move back down to this level. WALKERS SENTRY ran a decent race at first asking and should move forward off of that one.

Race 2

GRACEE GOO shows a few even efforts against tougher recently and will be tough to beat here on the move down to this bottom level for the first time. TWITTERVERSE shows two solid races against similar in his last two starts and is a contender. RUNAWAY LIZ just missed last time out and has to be considered.

Race 3

RULELIKECLEOPATRA comes in off an even effort against allowance company and looked very sharp, drawing off to win be eight at this level before that one. A repeat of that would make her tough to beat again tonight with Doyle back in the irons. LUSTY GIT YER GUN comes in off a nice win and looks like the main candidate to spring the upset. POMMETTE is winless in six starts over this surface, but beat the top pick on the dirt over the summer.

Race 4

OCTOBER SONG ran a solid race last time out after having been off since July. She figures to improve off of that...

Parx Opening Delayed By One Week

In an effort to keep our IdaBet.com players up to date with the happenings of your favorite tracks, we are pleased to provide the following announcement by Parx.

Parx reopening is delayed by one week. Parx was originally scheduled to open on February 13th but it has been pushed back to Saturday, February 20th. The extra time has been agreed upon by the Horsemen and Management in an effort to give horses stabled at the track additional time to train. The track has been closed for training purposes due to the installation of a new safety rail and  there were some delays and  24 inches of snow.  Parx has added Sunday’s in April to make up the days.
