Keeneland Racing On IdaBet.com

We thought our IdaBet.com players would want an update on Keeneland Racing!  Keeneland begins its Spring Meet Friday, April 8, with 16 racing days, Wednesdays through Sundays, concluding on Friday, April 29.  Opening weekend will once again feature the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (G1) and the Central Bank Ashland (G1), Keeneland’s premier 3-year-old prep races for the Kentucky Derby and the Kentucky Oaks.

In addition, for the first time Keeneland will be partnering with NYRA to bring players an all-graded Pick Four on April 9, featuring the Wood Memorial, the Toyota Blue Grass, the Central Bank Ashland, and another graded stakes from Aqueduct.  This special Pick Four will be carded as a separate wagering event and hosted by Keeneland, with 19% takeout and host fees based on Keeneland contracts.

The 2016 Spring Meet kicks off Friday, April 8, with College Scholarship Day, hosted by Keeneland and the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association, that attracts thousands of students from state and regional colleges and universities. Students can register to win one of ten $1,000 scholarships and prizes to be given away following each of the day’s races. This year, a $10,000 Runhappy Scholarship will be given away to one lucky student following the post parade for the 8th race.
