Race 1: 4- Barn Yard Judy – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the others to take tonight’s opener. 2- Erie – Is the
1st racing foal out of Baba S and has been flawless thus far not making any break; she gets a good draw and seems to be improving. 3- Conway Surprize –
Could be a factor with a clean effort. 8- Ashley Freedom – Will light up the exotics from post eight, don’t leave off the ticket.
Race 2: 7- Ultimate Winner – Could be victorious upon coming to Cleveland. 3- Lima Legend – Looks to be tough at this level of competition, throw out
the last start after being parked the mile. 5- Moneydontbuyulove – Comes back to Northeast Ohio after a few hit or miss starts at other facilities, look for
improvement. 1- S F Scorpion – Draws well towards the inside and could strike after making a break last time out.
Race 3: 4- Stud Alley – Was scratched in what would’ve been her last start in 2017, if she goes in her qualifying time it could beat these, layoff is worry.
1- Kayla Jade – Finished second last time out and could be right there again tonight. 5- Secret Swan – Made the ticket in three of his last four races and could
be right there again tonight.
Race 4: 8- No Pets – Added Lasix back in April and now gets the driving services of Wrenn; could be the value play of the night. 2- Johnny G’s Star – Another
with a big shot in here. 3- Smell That Rock – Draws well towards the inside this week, has some late closing kick that will make him tough. 5- Big Town Joe –
Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.
Race 5: 9- Almondy As – Has been facing these in her last two starts and has looked strong in both of them, Merriman gets the lines and should continue
improving. 3- Onemorebro – Has the ability to be prominently placed on this ticket. 4- Easter Dunn – Put in a big effort last week from post three, if Hunter
can get him into a better position tonight watch out. 5- Mason Man – Could garner a minor share in here.
Race 6: 8- P L Haymaker – Had a monster effort last week from post seven and just missed against these, giving another chance tonight. 1- Sir Howie’s Z
Tam – Could step up and race well tonight. 2- Royal Meeting – Looks to be in the thick of the action from the inside, gets a driver change to Stahl tonight.
4- Knight Sky – Could be in the thick of the action from mid-pack.
Race 7: 3- Patient I D – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the others to get the job done. 6- Blackwolf Run – Drops
in class and looks to have a big shot in here. 5- I’ve Got Spirit – Should not be overlooked as a potential competitor in here. 1- Hupomone – Has as good of
a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.
Race 8: 9- Bellhaven – Adds Lasix for the first time tonight and he has the ability to come from off the pace. 7- Whitman Spur – Could very well be the pacesetter
tonight, he likes to be close to the lead even from the outside. 1- Graceful Jarmbro – Could add value to the ticket.
Race 9: 8- Readysetletsroll – Dropped to this class last time out and didn’t fair that well, look for more improvement tonight. 2- Fraternity – Another that
looks to be tough in here. 3- Bob’s Ideal – Has been racing well and that trend should continue. 1- Shift Right – Looks to be a factor in here.
Race 10: 4- To Russia – Is a horse that we have touted for a while, she gets a good draw and should have issue here. 1- California Love – Was a winner two
starts back and she looks to get back into winning form. 9- Music Teacher – Should get a good trip from the second tier. 2- Dontforgettodreamit – Has as
good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.
Race 11: 3- Mingo – Gets Lasix for the first time tonight and gets into a new barn, expecting a good trip over a new surface. 1- Americhi – Drops in class and
has a little bit of speed to work with off the rail. 8- Dateline Hanover – Looks to be tough in here if he minds his manners. 7- Tico Time – Could garner a
minor share despite starting from the outside.
Race 12: 2- Slap Happy Sammy – Draws into a race where several could win; this one gets the slight call over the others to get the job done. 8- Power StickAnother
that has a big shot in here. 7- Norman Skidd Marks – Could add value to the ticket. 6- Cinderellas Dress – Looks to be in the thick of the action.
Race 13: 3- Craig Michael – Gets a better draw tonight after a game effort last week closing from off the pace. 5- Chang Dynasty – Has a good amount
of speed and she likes to hit the board, could hit at a price. 9- Wilbur’s Z Tam – Should not be overlooked as a potential competitor in here. 7- Odds On
Serpens – Looks to be in the thick of the action. 1- Enjoy The Scenery – Could garner a minor share of the 20¢ Super High Five.
Race 14: 3- Jake’s Santanna – Makes his first start at Northfield tonight, he gets a good draw and should race well. 2- Lucky Match – Could be tough from
the inside. 6- Calibrated Speed – Could add value to the ticket. 4- Lilly L – Another that could add value in here.
Race 15: 9- Catch The Bouquet – Could score tonight from the second tier after a big effort last out. 2- Rompaway Galaxy – Adds hopples for the first time
and the qualifier looks promising. 5- Henpecked – Throw out the last start where she was parked the mile, could improve this week. 3- Logan County Ralph –
Has as good of a shot as any in here to complete the Superfecta.
Race 16: 1- Caffeine Rush – Dropped to this level last time out and he made a strong closing effort and just missed, expecting another big trip. 4- Imprudent
Speed – Could be tough from mid-pack. 3- Warrior Call – Could add value to the ticket. 7- Lunatic Fringe – Another that could add value in here.
